Snoring Prevention

Snoring is considered a serious problem in the UK so that in 1991, the British Snoring and Sleep Apnea Association was formed to provide help to 30 million people in the UK attain a restful night with their partners. The BSSAA recognized the need for such organization in response to recent studies regarding the serious health problems that snorers and people with sleep apnea are at risk of.

The aim of the British Snoring and Sleep Apnea Association is to propagate information and instill awareness among the public regarding the health risks of sleep apnea and snoring. The association also sells a variety of anti snoring products that are designed for each type of obstruction to the airflow that contributes to snoring.

The British Snoring and Sleep Apnea Association has also conducted researches into all aspects of sleep apnea and snoring. The medical community around as well as the review journals the UK has also been presented with research papers by the BSSAA. The BSSAA was able to present one of their surveys titled “Snoring and Sexual Relationships” to the Royal Society of Medicine in 2005 and at the British Sleep Society Annual Conference.
